There are lots of DVDs of women flashing their assets at parties, beaches, and so on, and among the many that I've seen, I'd say that CANADIAN WILD GIRLS: COUGARS ON THE LOOSE is pretty typical. There is one difference here, namely that about half of this was filmed at some kind of exhibition center or mall, so there are hundreds of people ranging in age from about 18 to 80, milling around the Canadian Wild Girls booth where ladies stop by to get topless, and a few show their backsides too. No ladies take everything off here, though. What is odd is that the people milling around in the mall act like they see nude ladies in public every day! No one seems shocked at all, even though some of the ladies jiggle around and/or caress themselves or each other very liberally. If this sort of thing is typical in Canada, I'm definitely moving north very soon!!
The other approximately half of the DVD was filmed in various places - bars, dance clubs, pool halls, etc., and it's all of ladies flashing the camera. The title is rather a misnomer, though, because even though the definition of a "cougar" is given as "a woman usually from 30 to 50 who prefers the sexual company of younger men," probably most of the women shown are in their late teens or 20s. I do like that the soundtrack is usually live, although some of it has music in the background that makes it hard to hear everything that is said. One oddity is that even though the 1.33:1 image looks fine even on my high-definition TV, when I pause an image it always looks grainy or highly compressed, so that's a puzzle. It's also annoying that a couple of ads for other DVDs in this series are stuck right in the middle of the program, and the bonus footage should have been added in to the main program to get it out to about an hour. My only other complaint is that some of this should definitely have been edited out - it's like they used all the footage they had available, no matter how bad some of it was. However, most of this is super, and several of the ladies they turned up are absolutely DYNAMITE!! The only other DVD of this series that I've seen is Canadian Wild Girls: Bosom Buddies, and although the two are very similar, I would give BOSOM BUDDIES a slight edge over this one. |
